The DTA AI Policy applies directly to all non-corporate Commonwealth entities. Through mandated procurement clauses, the obligations flow down to anyone selling AI capability into the Commonwealth.
Key obligations
- Implement the DTA AI Policy in full (Accountable Official, AIIA, transparency statement, training).
- Use mandated AI procurement clauses in tenders and contracts.
- Report periodically to the DTA on AI maturity.
